Well its the week we have been all been anticipating--I should say I have been--and Alex too. He is turning 8 years old in 4 days. This is a big thing for our family because he is going to be baptized. As members of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints getting baptized is a big step and with this decision he will receive the gift of the
Holy Ghost through the power of the priesthood. He will have the guidance and direction of the Holy Ghost throughout his life to help him to know the truthfulness of all things, to keep him from deception, and to help him to Choose the Right in a world of so much chaos.
Of course he is also pretty excited for his upcoming birthday party. He is having all of his friends over to
watch a movie on our big screen- we are having a snack bar, popcorn and pop- 10 boys and lots of fun. These are the invitations that I made for each of the events. They mark a moment that we will remember for all our lives.

I don't know how anyone can look at those pictures of Alex and not smile. I love your scrapbook pages. A big congratulations to him on his baptism!
