Thanksgiving Holiday Memories

We had a great Thanksgiving Holiday- spending time with family and friends. I continue to be thankful for the knowledge I have of the gospel of Jesus Christ- that we are all one big eternal family. I am thankful that my friends and family love me, forgive me, bless me and share their lives with me. I am thankful I am continually learning of the great potential I have and that I know I can always improve and be better than I am today. (Thank goodness for that!) I am especially thankful for David and his patience, kindness, love and understanding for me. My children teach me everyday of how to be humble, patient, forgiving and unconditionally love. I find myself wanting to be like them more and more. Thank you for experience which helps me to learn and grow and love.

My trip to Utah!

It was great fun to fly, with no kids, for 5 whole days with my brothers and sisters. The occasion being the blessing of Hannah! It was so fun to meet my newest little niece. Pictures just don't do her justice- She is beautiful!!! I got there Thursday and went to The Lion House for lunch with Sabrina and Mom and then headed down to Provo to stay with Jacob and Sabrina for the night. Then the rest of the time I stayed with Bonnie and Rick. Every day we were together, all of us, playing games and eating. I think I ate worse than I have in over a year and boy, did my stomach feel it. I even won, at Phase 10- against Rick, Joe and Dad. We got to go to the Church History Museum and to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing in the Music and the Spoken Word. (Talk about powerful!) The trip was great and memorable! I look forward to visiting again with my family. It was rather odd, being without David and the kids- I felt like something was missing and I wanted them to be part of the memories.

Halloween 2007

This year Halloween was a bit different because I wasn't there for Trick or Treating. I actually had to go to class that evening. So David took the kids to trunk or treating and after all the candy they got there he decided it was enough and took them home for pizza and Fantastic Four. Nicholas loves his candy! In fact, as soon as he got his candy he wanted to sit down and eat it. He was thrilled to say "Treat" and receive one without getting told "no". Alex and Natalee had their school parties and enjoyed dressing up at school. Natalee dressed up as a ballerina wedding princess, Alex wanted to be Dale Earnhardt, Jr (the same as last year) and Nicholas wore the blue power ranger outfit that alex had a few years ago. I can't believe how much candy they have--it will last for an entire year. I divided it up by chocolate, chewy candy and hard candy. They get two pieces a day-as long as they eat their dinner. If I don't monitor it then all of them will have cavities. (Natalee already had to get a crown on her back molar because she had a cavity and while eating a piece of candy the tooth broke.) It was a fun Halloween -it came and went so quickly, except for the candy it almost feels like it didn't happen.
