Alex was so excited for school to start. The day before we bought all his supplies and new backpack. We also bought new clothes (a transformer shirt). He was up at the crack of dawn and asking all morning when he could leave for the bus. When the time finally came to leave he ran out the door and up the street. I had to follow him to the bus stop for the traditional first day of school picture.
